Welcome to the Illinois Physician-In-Training Workforce Survey. As a resident or fellow who will soon be entering the physician workforce, your input is important to better understand physician workforce issues in the state of Illinois. The survey is being administered by the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, and is supported by the Illinois Hospital Association (IHA), the Illinois Public Health Institute (IPHI), and the Illinois State Medical Society (ISMS).
The survey is designed to collect data related to your post-residency plans. The survey has the following objectives:
- Identify future physician supply and demand imbalances
- Document issues influencing resident and fellow choices for where to practice medicine
- Increase the awareness of current resident and fellow workforce issues in Illinois
Thank you for your cooperation. Your input will provide valuable information to assist the state in planning its future health care delivery systems. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. You must complete the survey in one session for your results to be recorded. Your participation in this survey is voluntary and anonymous.
